My Story

I was born right here in Utah County in the old Payson Hospital and was raised in San Diego.  After serving two years wandering around the driest desert on the planet I attended Northern Arizona University where I earned my degree in Forensics and Criminology.  I then moved to back to Utah to intern in the Forensics Department at the Utah State Crime lab.  After that time I also earned an MBA in Law Management, from Salve Regina University.

My lovely wife, Jessie, and I have been married for 6 years.  We have 4 children.  We love Utah County and very glad to have made it our home.  We enjoy hiking and camping together, as well as going to sports events, especially baseball.  I also have a 1st degree black belt in jujitsu.

I have been interested in politics, the Founding Fathers and our Founding Documents ever since I ran for Rolling Hills Elementary School Treasurer in the 4th grade.  I have stayed involved and educated to specialize myself for these times.  Having volunteered for Jason Chaffetz campaign I learned that one man and real values can make a difference.  I then worked for Icaucus as a National Director and worked with many organizations that understand that family values and fiscal responsibility are what are needed to restore our Nation.
